Hi Guys,
I am trying to figure out the possibility to connect to a remote Windows machine and see the Windows desktop in the WinccOA panel (eg. something similar as a regular RDP from Windows machine to Windows machine, the only difference is, it would be visible in the Wincc OA panel).
Therefore my question is:
Is it possible to use the ActiveX Controls available in Gedi (there are multiple Microsoft RDP Client Controls available)?
There is nothing in the help written about these components.
If this is a wrong way of doing, what would you suggest for displaying a remote desktop from within Wincc OA?
thanks
Richard

Re: Windows RDP from within the Wincc OA panel
Up to now we never had the requirement to use a Remote Desktop inside of a WinCC OA panel.
In GEDI the ActiveX elements installed on your system are displayed and you can add them to a panel.
How to use the functions/methods defined for the ActiveX you have to find in the documentation for the ActiveX element.
