How to update version without losing data?

Hello,

I wanted to know if it is possible to update the version of WinCC OA without losing data. I have redundant server pair, but is it possible to get into redundance mode if on server is for example version 3.15 and the other is version 3.16?
What would be the best solution to lose no data or as few as possible data?

How to make an upgrade for a redundant project is described in the WinCC OA Documentation: Project administration --> Project administration --> Update or patch project.
