Hi,
Is there a way of using the AEScreen filter options for description and identifier where the case is not sensitive?
For example when entering a description filter of '*SCADA*' we obtain all the alarms with 'SCADA' in where as entering '*scada*' we obtain no results.
Is there a way around this or are there any plans for this in the product?
Thanks,
Chris

Re: AEScreen filter and case sensitivity
The filters in a query string are always case sensitive.
As far as I know there are no changes planned for this functionality.

Re: AEScreen filter and case sensitivity
Hi Chris,
I would imagine that it is possible to use wildcards as a workaround ("*SCADA*" -> "*{s,S}{c,C}{a,A}{d,D}{a,A}*" for DP identifier and "*[s,S][c,C][a,A][d,D][a,A]*" for description).
But I have no idea how badly that would affect the query's performance.
