Automatic Testing in WinCC OA

Post by paramesh1985 »

Hi .

I would like to test some of my test case by automatically in WinCC OA.

For Example: When I have triggered one command it has to receive 1000 alarms and events from PLC. It has to record in WinCC OA using automatic testing with timestamp, values etc..

Any ides how to do this either via control script or some tool.

When using WinCC OA 3.16 you can possibly use the Test Framework for your tests.
Detailed information can be found in the WinCC OA Documentation in chapter "TestFramework_3.16".

Where can I find information on the framework in the Documentation? In the Help file of WinCCOA 3.16 I could not find information on it (index).

In the list of topics there is one entry called "TestFramework_3.16" in the WinCC OA Documentation.
Probably you have to install the newest patch to have this functionality available.

You can also look for "Special functions --> CTRL OA Unit Test Library".
