Hi everyone
I have a problem with opc DA over dist. The system has the following configuration:
System1: Wincc OA project with DPs.
System2: Wincc OA project with OPC DA server. System2 has no DPs. System1 and System2 are connected by the Dist manager.
Client: OPC Client (Wincc OA or not, no matter). Client connected with System2 by the OPC DA protocol and get DPs values ??from System1.
When the connection between System1 and System2 is lost, quality of DPs from System1 arrives at the time of the last signal change, eg:
- DP1: Value 1, timestamp: 12.11.2018 17:23:34, Quality Good.
- Connection is lost.
- DP1: Value 1, timestamp: 12.11.2018 17:23:34, Quality Uncertain (Last Usable Value).
- connection has been restored.
- DP1: Value 1, timestamp: 12.11.2018 17:23:34, Quality Good.
Is it possible to record quality in different time stamps?

Re: OPC DA over dist
Why should the timestamp change if the timestamp in WinCC OA has not been changed?
When the connection is lost/reestablished only the quality changes and therefore the timestamp is still the same.
