Hello.

Switching to reserve connection of the IEC104 driver takes about 30 seconds. Is it possible to reduce this time to 1 second?

The configuration of the stand is as follows:
1. There is an IEC104 connection with two connections.
2. The connection works in a redundant mode.
3. Connection A is connected to controller A, connection B is connected to controller B.

The initial scheme:
1. Active connection through the controller A.
2. Connection through controller B is passive.

Sequencing:
1. Disables the patch from the controller A.
2. After about 30 seconds, the connection is switched to controller B.

Reducing this time should be possible, but 1 second is really fast I do not know if that is feasible.

What is the connection timeout that has been set at the connection configuration?
Beside that setting you could also try the following config entries:

timeout_t2
timeout_t3

We already tried to set different values for connection timeout and use different config entries for the iec section, but did not reach the goal. We managed to make the switching time less than 30 seconds but much longer than necessary (1 second).

We require a timeout_t1 not smaller than 5 seconds.

There is also an additional rule that timeout_t3 must be bigger as timeout_t1 so a detection time of 1 second is not possible.

Please note that the reducing of these timeouts can lead to unwanted disconnection.
