Problem connecting Android tablet with mobile UI

Hi, I have an Android tablet that I am trying to connect to connect to an OA server project using the mobile UI app. The project is OA v3.16,
I am getting an immediate error message near the bottom of the Android display "Unexpected state, qt.network.ssl, QSslSocket: cannot call unresolved function EC_get_builtin_curves"
I have tried access via HTTP (port 80) and HTTPS (port 443), and have also tried host name and IP address, but it always gives the same error message.
I have an iPad that I can successfully connect via the mobile UI, so the problem must be at the Android device end.
I have found the following article on the Qt website: http://www.qtcentre.org/threads/67885-Q ... on-Android
This suggests there may be problems with Android v6 because of an Android library change in Android v6. My device is running Android v6.0.1, but gives no clues what to do about it.
Does anyone have anything to suggest?
Thanks,
Brian
