S7Plus driver issues after KB5037591 windows update

Hello all,

After this KB5037591 windows 11 update, the S7Plus driver is no longer able to run ir our 3.17P32 winccoa development machines. I attach de log file entry of the error:


WCCOAs7plus (1), 2024.06.11 09:50:31.114, PARAM,SEVERE, 68/s7plus, S7PlusDrv, start_oms, Error not coming from OMS+ (-9223281722282474646)

Maybe others functions/drivers are also afected, but in our case we are just having/seeing problems with the S7Plus. Anyone is having the same issues? Uninstall this update is not an option, any suggestion?

The problem only appears when you have installed WinCC OA 3.17 and a newer WinCC OA version on the same machine.
Within patches for WinCC OA 3.18 and 3.19 the OMS+ library was updated to fit OpenSSL 3.0.

To avoid this problem and the conflict of the OMS+ package you have to use an own machine to run WinCC 3.17.

Yes, we work with the 3.17P12 and we had to install the 3.19P11 to do the engineer workshop training.

Now that we finish the courses, i tried to uninstall both, 3.17 and 3.19 and install again the 3.17, but still the same problem. Any way to rollback this OMS+ library version? I'm not going to format our machines for this...

Please check the installed programs on your computer in the Windows System Management.
Possibly you can find there an OMS+ installation and you do an uninstall of it.
