Currently, I am trying to link between WinccOA(Linux version) & Oracle Database(Server) using OCI method.

<Environment>

OA Server: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.6(Maipo) & WinccOA 3.16
Database server: Oracle 8.x or Oracle 9.x

<TEST method>

The contents of the script checked in the current OA help are checked as follows.

DbOpenConnection()

The following values ​​for the parameter driver are supported under Linux:
"QOCI8"-Oracle Call Interface (OCI), Oracle 8.x and Oracle 9.x


When using the following script

DbOpenConnection="driver=QOCI8;server=<Server Name>;uid=<user ID>;pwd=<Password>;database=WinCC_OA;port=1521;"

The result confirmed in OA's Logview is

QOCI8 driver not loaded.


When using Linux OS, there is insufficient data on how to apply.

Please let me know if you have any of these experiences.

Which WinCC OA version are you using?
Which packages of the WinCC OA installation have you installed?

Maybe there are some parts missing and therefore it does not work.
