Audit trail sorting

Post by dimitrios » Fri Dec 13, 2019 12:04 pm

Good day!

I'm having a couple of issues with my Audit table:

1) It seems I cannot format the date/time as DD/MM/YY instead of MM/DD/YY. I fear that is because at the start of the project I've had the US date in my OS and I've changed it halfway through the project to be in the UK one. the timeformat() doesnt seem to work with %c parameter. Any ideas?

2) The sorting function doesn't work as it's supposed to. Currently, I'm getting an ascending "Time" column sorting, while I would like it to be descending. I've tried both changing the "Sorting" property of the Audit table to "timeStr,0" (didn't work) and adding the .sort function on the initialization of the table (didn;'t work either).

Thank you in advance!

Dimitris

1) According to the code in the panel the format "%c" is used for the time column.
The language defined in the WinCC OA project defines which regional settings are used. The language of the OS is not taken into account.
E.g. a project running with the language de_AT on an OS running in English language will display times in the format defined for the language "German - Austria" (de_AT).

2) If you want to change the sorting order you have to do the sorting after the table is filled with data.
For the panel audit_screen.pnl filling the table with data is made in the function auditCBLines().

1) So, is there any easy way or config setting to change all date-and-time formats to for instance 24H and YYYY-MM-DD even though project language is en_US? (At least the alarm and trend screens?)

In WinCC OA you cannot define the time format which is used when using the "%c" parameter to format the time.
The format is taken from the operating system settings for the language which is used in the WinCC OA project.
