Patch readme files on the new portal?

Hello ETM,
after having seen the announcement of the latest 3.14 patch (even though we do not use 3.14 at CERN), I was curious to see what kind of problems were fixed there, so I headed to the new ETM portal.
To my surprise, I do not see any longer the patch "Readme" files available, only the full versions weighing hundreds of megabytes...
In the past it was very useful to have the Readme files, to be able to judge if the patch is "worth" downloading at all or how critical it is to be deployed. And it was interesting to self-inform what was fixed on another version of WinCC OA, even if we did not use it, to become vigilant to similar type of problems in other versions.
Therefore, if possible, I would very much like that you put again the patch readme files on the new portal.
with kind regards,
Piotr Golonka

There is a download link for the readme file right above the download button for the version (maybe it was just added?

)
There is no download link for the readme file on the first option for WinCC 3.14:
WinCC Open Architecture 3.14 Windows (64bit) incl. P024, branding package
Not sure why it is different but the other options have the readme file.

For the branding package there is no readme file available as it is the basic installation to create an own setup.
The branding package cannot be installed as a patch to make an update for an existing WinCC OA installation.

Hi,
In the previous portal, all the patch readme files were available which was really useful. Are these still available on the new portal? I can only see a download for the latest patch readme.

At the moment in the new portal you can only download the readme file for the newest patch. Due to the data migration only the newest patch was uploaded to the new portal.
If you want to have a look at the previous readme files you can install the patch. The readme files for the predecessor patches are also installed.

Great, thanks for your help! I'd forgotten they are saved in the install folder.

It is a little waste of time to install WinCC OA each time when you'd like to see the readme files for intermediate patch updates.
Do you have a plan to return this worth feature to the new forum?

Yes, it would be great to get the Readme files back as before. Good approach Pitresky.

Hi ,
We have 3.16 P007. We are not sure to install 3.16 P11 as we are not able to track the complete release notes (bugs / features etc.) from P7 to P11.
Is there any way to track the release notes all at once?
Thanks ,
Bala
