I/O calculation tool

Post by jocinanand »

Hello,

Does WinCC OA have a tool for I/O calculation criteria?
we need the basics/criteria of the I/O license consumed by WinCC OA especially for the tags read through NTCIP protocol.

Thanks,
jocin

In the Downloads section you will find a sample panel which can be used to count IOs.

This is very interesting indeed. I see that the panel only takes into account drivers. But for licensing purposes, traffic from other managers like OPC UA server should be counted as well I guess?

Thanks,

No IOs are just active _address configs. The OPC UA Server is only a license option.

That's good to know. It would be great to have some ETM confirmation as well.

Thanks!

Here is again the link
https://www.winccoa.com/downloads/detai ... 5fd68eb99a

If the link does not work go to the "Downloads" --> "Miscellaneous" --> "I/O Counter"
