Hello,
we using WinCCO OA 3.16 P 16 and starting to setup an OPC A Server.
To create the view structure there are two options available by WinCCOA via Datapoint Group or CNS. Is some of you aware if it also possible to use an xml model which can be imported by WinccOA to create the view?
pretty much like the Siome by Siemens

Hello,
no, an OPC UA Companion Specification cannot be imported. However, you can read in the XML and create data point types, data points and a CNS view via script.

another question.
How do we create an OPC UA device model (AddressSpace) “method”? Doesn’t seem to be available in the Plantmodel, is there another way to do this?
