Re: Possible to detect if panel is running in webserver?

The panel is running in ULC UX if the value of 'getApplicationProperty("platformName")' is 'ulc'.

Possible solutions to detect if the UI is using the webserver to get the panels can be found in How to find out that the code is running in the DesktopUI?

Re: Lost of manager number

At the OPC HDA server configuration there are instructions for defining a specific manager number. With some slight modifications these instructions should work for the OPC DA server. See in the documentation under: Drivers -> OPC Historical Data Access -> Configuration of the OPC HDA Server -> Star...

Re: How to construct a popup Menu with Icons and text

There is a hidden feature, which makes it possible to set a 'popup' flag for child panels. If this flag is set the child panel is closed if a mouse click occurs outside the child panel.
Perhaps 3.18 contains an example using this 'popup' flag.

Re: Client UI Cannot connect to Server

Perhaps it is caused by a host name resolve issue. Check if the host names of the remote UI hosts can be resolved by the server(s) and try the 'general' config entry 'noReverseLookup = 1'.

Re: WinCC OA integration with HTTP method "RESTful service"

For using a REST interface you could use the netDelete/netGet/netPost/netPut functions.

For providing a REST interface you would need to use 'httpServer()' to install the webserver and 'httpConnect()' to connect your function to the interface url.

This message can be seen if a HTTP client tries to connect to a HTTPS server.

Re: Panel opens through time

From your post it is not very clear what happens and is supposed to happen. But perhaps this helps anyway. The 'Panel1' is opened with a dollar parameter (containing some ID), but it also does a 'dpGet' to retrieve an ID. This seems a bit redundant and since I do not see that the datapoint element i...

Re: Use duplicated objects on SIMPLE SYMBOL

In the property editor and/or reference panel you could set a new dollar parameter as dollar value (like $pump1 or $station + ".pump1").

Re: mxProxy and Apache

1. Yes, it is possible to run multiple mxProxies. 2. Never configured it before, but I the remote mxProxy connection must be allowed by adding this to the WinCC OA server configs: [data] & [event] mxProxy = "none" OR localAddress = "" This will make the data and event manager...

Re: CTRL SCRIPT SIGNAL HANDLER

It is possible to connect to the 'exitRequested' event with 'sysConnect()' to catch the 'SIGTERM' signal. On a 'SIGKILL' it is not possible to perform a clean close.
