Re: ascii manager - export / import not possible

Are you possibly trying to make an ASCII export on a client machine?
An ASCII export you always have to make directly at the server.

Re: [3.18] Special characters letters in logs

We have seen a similar issue some days ago and our devlopers are currently looking at it.
If it can solved and when it will be done (if possbile) is not defined right now.

Re: Window before UI Starts

If you want to change the "look&feel" of WinCC OA you need a special contract, otherwise it is prohibited. Some basic information for the "branding" topic you can find in the WinCC OA Documentation: https://www.winccoa.com/documentation/WinCCOA/3.18.0/en_US/Branding/Installat...

Re: Overflow bit IEC104

As far as I have seen the "overflow" information can only be mapped to user bits and not to one of status bits using the config entries userByteQ or UserBitOV.

Re: ICMP Protocol

WinCC OA offers the possibility to use SNMP.
For detailed information you can have a look at the following web page:

Re: Dp create error

The problem is not related to the license you are using.
Possibly the database is damaged and therefore creating datapoints fails.
You can check if there other errors for the database are reported during start and/or runtime.

Re: Export DPType faceplate configuration

If you want to have additional data exported you can simply modify the code in the button "run" in the panel vision/AsciiMan.pnl. In the script the filters are set for the data export, e.g. including a DP filter for "_dt_" datapoints when master datapoints are exported. Best Rega...

Re: Fast Swipe Gesture Causing Bouncing To Opposite Direction

Due to the home office situation we do not have the possibility to make a test with a touch screen. Please check on your device if the same problem also occurs in other applications than WinCC OA. If the problem can be seen in other programs too it is possibly a problem of the touch device. Best Reg...

Re: Export DPType faceplate configuration

The (power) configs and the configured symbols for a DP type are two different things in WinCC OA. Therefore the option to export the power config settings is only related to the datapoint model in the database and not to the UI representation of a DP type. I'm not sure what you have meant with the ...
