Main difference is the way vertical axis are managed. The EWO is dedicated to trending for vacuum systems. The main unit of DPE is mbar for vacuum, all the dpe values using this unit really share the same axis the axis is positioned to the left and is by default logarithmic. Other vertical axis are secondary units for instance we have %, Volts, Amps… sometimes same unit does not represent the same physical value and for this we have 2 different axis (motor Amps and beam intensity also in Amps). Secondary units axis are display on the right and linear by default. User can change time axis to logarithmic for diagnostic purpose (don’t ask me why, it is in the specs it’s all I know). As vertical axis are dedicated to vacuum application the scale is automatically calculated by the EWO and most of the case user don’t need to rescale. The rescale can be done by up and down buttons for each vertical axis that easily change the scale decade by decade….
